Scope and Limitation This study is based on the manual library system of University of Makati. The focus of the study is to create a library system that is needed very much on filling, and arranging of library’s books information and borrower’s records. This system also focuses on the borrower’s so that the librarian will easily know who the borrower of the book is. Every book records will be stored and the file retrieval will be faster and comprehensive. The books are easy to find in the system by the use of search engine. The system can easily monitor the list of all books, the status and the availability that are presently stored in the system. By the use of bar code reader, the books are easily recognized by the system so that less consuming of time to add books and to borrow books. In terms of returning of books, the system will compute t he penalty for overdue books fine. The system will generate inventory reports. For the limitations, the proposed system will not include . It is not connected on the other department. Other matters that were not mentioned in this study are to beyond the control of the researchers and would definitely not be included. Importance of the Study In the fast development of Library System, computers almost conquer all aspect of the business. The proposed system â€Å"Library System with Barcode Reader† has a high standard, because it will help the librarian to manage all the records. The proposed system is significant for it can answer the problem of the client regarding on the activities inside the library. Through this study, it will serve as a fulfillment among the researchers by gaining more experience and expertise in the fields of computer. The proposed system would benefit the University of Makati especially to the librarians who are responsible in arranging and organizing the books information in the library. This study would be a great relevance since it would organize the arrangement of the books and to give fast and accurate information to the user. In addition the proposed system will make the work of the user easy and comfortable. The importance of the system to the University’s librarian is that it will help the librarian for precise and quality assistance and give advantage for the use of computerized library system. John Tyler - Tenth President of the United States

John Tyler was born on March 29, 1790 in Virginia. Not much is known about his childhood though he grew up on a plantation in Virginia. His Mother died when he was only seven. At twelve, he entered the College of William and Mary Preparatory School. He graduated from the College proper in 1807. He then studied law and was admitted to the bar in 1809. Family Ties Tylers father, John, was a planter and  supporter of the American Revolution. He was a friend of Thomas Jefferson and politically active. His mother,  Mary Armistead - died when Tyler was seven. He had five sisters and two brothers. On March 29, 1813, Tyler married  Letitia Christian. She served briefly as First Lady before suffering a stroke and dying while he was president. Together she and Tyler had seven children: three sons and four daughters. On June 26, 1844, Tyler married Julia Gardner while he was president. She was 24 while he was 54. Together they had five sons and two daughters.   John Tyler's Career Before the Presidency From 1811-16, 1823-5, and 1838-40, John Tyler was a member of the Virginia House of Delegates. In 1813, he did join the militia but never saw action. In 1816, Tyler was elected to be a U.S. Representative. He strongly opposed every move towards power for the Federal government that he saw as unconstitutional. He eventually resigned. He was Governor of Virginia from 1825-7 until he was elected a U.S. Senator. Becoming President John Tyler was the Vice President under William Henry Harrison in the election of 1840. He was chosen to balance the ticket since he was from the South. He took over upon Harrisons quick demise after only one month in office. He was sworn in on April 6, 1841 and did not have a Vice President because no provisions had been made in the Constitution for one. In fact, many tried to claim that Tyler was actually only Acting President. He fought against this perception and won legitimacy. Events and Accomplishments of John Tyler's Presidency In 1841, John Tylers entire cabinet except for Secretary of State Daniel Webster resigned. This was due to his vetoes of laws creating the Third Bank of the United States. This went against his partys policy. After this point, Tyler had to operate as president without a party behind him. In 1842, Tyler agreed to and Congress ratified the Webster-Ashburton Treaty with Great Britain. This set the boundary between Maine and Canada. The border was agreed upon all the way to Oregon. President Polk would deal in his administration with the Oregon border. 1844 brought the Treaty of Wanghia. According to this treaty, America gained the right to trade in Chinese ports. America also gained the right of extraterritoriality with U.S. citizens were not under the jurisdiction of Chinese law. In 1845, three days before leaving office, John Tyler signed into law the joint resolution allowing for the annexation of Texas. Importantly, the resolution extended 36 degrees 30 minutes as the mark dividing free and slave states through Texas. Post Presidential Period John Tyler did not run for reelection in 1844. He retired to his farm in Virginia and later served as Chancellor of the College of William and Mary. As the Civil War approached, Tyler spoke for secession. He was the only president to join the Confederacy. He died on January 18, 1862 at the age of 71. Historical Significance Tyler was important first of all for setting the precedent of his becoming president as opposed to just Acting President for the rest of his term. He was not able to accomplish much in his administration due to the lack of party support. However, he did sign the annexation of Texas into law. Overall, he is considered to be a sub-par president.

How Social Workers can be Misconstrued as Volunteers People do not understand the historic relationship between social work and volunteerism. Even before social work was introduced in the society, the importance of volunteerism was realized (Aked, 2015). For functioning democracy, it was vital to have liberty to participate in volunteer movements. The development of volunteer associations and its prosperity has allowed people to survive and have the right to survival. These volunteer associations led to the improvement in the transportation, communication, infrastructure, health care and education (Schech et al., 2015). In addition, it also advocated for fair treatment of women and children. For example, Mother Teresas work for children will be recognized in every generation. Son and Wilson (2015) believed that volunteering is an effective option to gain meaningful hands-on experience in the field of social work which is the profession of people. It gives the students a chance to prepare for a real world work. For current social worker s volunteering is an efficient opportunity to reinforce their experience. Hence there are more number of social workers who are participating in the volunteering work. Therefore, it is justified for people to misconstrue social workers as volunteers. Volunteerism is the basis of existence of the social work professionals (Pollard, 2012). Activities or initiatives taken by the social workers are successful because of volunteerism. Since, volunteers established restoration services, supportive associations, child welfare organizations, childrens homes day care and several mental health services and movements it is justified to misinterpret social workers and volunteers. In short it can be said that volunteerism is the origin of social work (Mundle Buck, 2012). In every discipline of practice, the volunteers have paved the way for social work. The rich literature available on social welfare and social care services acknowledged volunteerism as the basis of the social work profession. Further, the function of volunteers and its connection with the surfacing of the career of the social work is evident from the associations such as- SHINE Singapore Charity Project, Singapore Kindness movement. Volunteers work for people who are strugg ling with crisis or manic-depressive illness, adults, children animal, and others staying remotely from home. They thus gain insights into peoples lives similar to social workers. However, volunteers work in range of places when compared to social workers. The later has limited range of opportunities. Volunteers has opportunities in sport teams, libraries, senior centre, community theatres, local animal shelters, wildlife centers, museums, monuments, service organizations such as Rotary clubs, or Lions clubs, after school programs, places of worships, historical restorations. Moreover, the volunteers do not have specified time for their work. They can work as long as they feel comfortable (Pollard, 2012). On the other hand, social workers have specified working hours such as those working in aged care centers or rehabilitation centers. Moreover, they cannot switch their domain or jobs as frequently as volunteers can. Volunteers can always render the service delivered by a social worker however; the later cannot invest time as volunteer. Social workers mostly deliver systematic and professional services. On the other hand, volunteers provide a hidden safety net (Mundle et al., 2012). Hence, public who are not aware of these differences misconstrue social workers as volunteers. According to Son and Wilson, (2015) in a typical social worker the power dynamic inherent are not so prominent. The relationship they built with the service users are not strong enough. Aked (2015), argued that the volunteering is the effective way to enable better personal relationships with the service users. For instance, there are social workers who act as befriender for a childrens charity group and have gained priceless transferable skills. It was not merely interacting with children. It also includes issues around confidentiality, regular communication and engagement with the families and using different communication styles in regards to different developmental stage and the age of the child (Schech et al., 2015). To hone these skills there is a need for social worker to participate in volunteering. Therefore, social workers were misconstrued as volunteers. Just like he mother warns Browny about being naughty, she warns Whitey about her selfish and greedy character. Lang illustrates Blacky as good natured with no characters of both Browny and Whitey. Lang says â€Å"he had nice dainty ways†¦his skin was always smooth and shining.† Blacky is seen as the cleverest of the three and as a result their mother was proud of him. The author shows a time when the mother of the three becomes old and feeble therefore calls his three piglets with an offer to build each a house. Browny prefers a house made of mud while Whitey prefers a cabbage house while Blacky prefers a house that is built with brick. Their mother applauds Blacky for being sensible especially with the fox being their worst enemy. Lang tells how the pigs move to their houses after their mother’s death. Browny is seen to enjoy rolling in his mud house until the day fox comes to visit. Browny does not let the fox in but with the use of his paws, he digs up a hole and gets his way in.  The fox grabs Browny by the neck and heads to his den for a feast. The following day, the fox is seen visiting Whitey who is enjoying a meal of cabbage. Whitey refuses to hear fox’s pleas to let him in; all the same the fox being sly eat his way to Whitey and took him to his house. The next day, the fox heads to Blacky’s house to try his luck.
